 Bingo. A centrifuge like this one at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas is
used to simulate G forces by revolving at very fast speeds. Simulating G forces
in a controlled environment allows scientists to measure the effects on a human
and learn ways to make G-protection equipment. Currently, nine Gs is about the
most a pilot can withstand before losing consciousness.
