Rape Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN)
The nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization, RAINN operates a free, confidential support hotline on its website and at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673). It also seeks to educate the public and to engage in efforts to prevent sexual assault, improve services to victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
A 24-hour confidential hotline for anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress, 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP)
Providing support to survivors of abuse by religious authority figures, SNAP features an online discussion board, connects survivors with support groups across the country, operates a suicide hotline, 1-800-SUICIDE (784-2433), and supports survivor advocacy and legal restitution.
Bishop Accountability
An organization that seeks to hold clergy accountable for sexual abuse by tracking and archiving every publicly available record on the crisis. Its website also features a database of accused priests and survivors' accounts.
National Organization for Male Sexual Victimization (NOMSV)
A membership-supported organization with resources for survivors and professionals related to male sexual abuse.
Darkness to Light (D2L)
D2L provides resources and educational programs for parents and communities on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the sexual abuse of children.
generationFIVE
generationFIVE uses transformative justice with the goal of ending child sexual abuse within five generations. It offers national trainings and seeks to integrate leadership development and community prevention in social movements and community organizing.
National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC)
Provides national leadership, consultation and technical assistance through information on sexual violence intervention and prevention strategies.
Stop It Now!
Resources for preventing the sexual abuse of children by mobilizing adults, families and communities to take action to protect children before they are harmed.
Stop the Silence

Alaska Resources
Standing Together Against Rape (STAR)
STAR provides free, confidential resources for survivors of sexual assault or abuse across Alaska and operates a 24-hour crisis and information hotline at 1-907-276-7273 and 1-800-478-8999.
Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (ANDVSA)
A nonprofit membership corporation with 17 programs across Alaska, ANDVSA provides services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, offender services and adult crisis intervention services.
Alaska CARES
An outpatient clinic in Anchorage, Alaska CARES provides sexual and physical abuse evaluations for children and 24-hour on-call services for cases that are considered emergent.
Church Resources
Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks
As part of its Chapter 11 reorganizational plan, the Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks offers information for survivors of abuse, including a mechanism to report abuse, this letter of apology from Bishop Donald J. Kettler and a list of "admitted, proven or credibly accused" perpetrators.
U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Office of Child and Youth Protection
Created in 2002 in response to the priest sexual abuse scandal, the Office of Child and Youth Protection is charged with implementing the American Catholic Church's response to the crisis, including conducting audits of dioceses to ensure their compliance with church policy. Its website lists Victims' Assistance Coordinators and offers resources for dioceses nationwide.
