Laura Ten Eyck is director of the renowned second floor gallery at the Argosy Book Store in New York City. Trained as an artist, she has a passion for contemporary art matched only by her expertise in rare maps and prints. At Argosy, she oversees sales and acquisitions, but her special interests are motivated by her background: her Canadian upbringing in Mimico, the oldest of the Lakeshore Municipalities of Lake Ontario, and her Dutch heritage dating back to the days of New Amsterdam.
