Biography
Sachiko Hori graduated from Kobe college in Japan and Sotheby’s Education in London in 1992. She started working at Christie's, London in 1993 as a Japanese art specialist and moved to Sotheby’s, New York in 1998, where she worked for 10 years as vice president and head of the Japanese department. She has been a consultant to Sotheby’s, New York for Japanese art since 2009 and has also worked independently as an art dealer both in Japan and New York.
