What We Believe w/ Esau McCaulley | Attribution Ep. 14

Rev. Esau McCaulley, PhD and “Attribution” host Bob McKinnon have a moving and provocative conversation about issues ranging from poverty and struggle to race and faith.

McCaulley is an associate professor of New Testament at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, and author of the books “Sharing in the Son’s Inheritance” and “Reading While Black: African American Biblical Interpretation as an Exercise in Hope.” He is also a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times, where he published the essay “I Grew Up Poor. How Am I Supposed to Raise My Middle-Class Kids?” This essay had a strong impact on McKinnon and played an important role in the context of this episode.
