Before Sean Pica was sentenced to 24 years in Sing Sing Correctional Facility, his education ended in ninth grade. During his time in prison, Pica participated in the Sing Sing college education program. He later become the program’s director, which he considers an opportunity to give back to the program that gave him a second chance.
