C. THEODORE ROOSEVELT. The building seen in the photo is the home of Cornelius Van Schaack Roosevelt. It’s believed that the two young children in the second floor window of the building are Cornelius’s grandchildren – Elliot (father of Eleanor Roosevelt), and future president Teddy.
