Climate Change is Killing Salmon in the Pacific Northwest

Increasing water temperatures are already affecting businesses along the coast, specifically the Salmon Hatcheries in Washington state that Nexus Media News visited. The warmer waters are just one factor that’s killing these fish before they even come out of the water. For the Tulalip Tribes, seeing this decline in salmon population is not just a loss of business but also losing a way of life.
