At the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Managing Editor Kim Lawton interviewed Sister Simone Campbell, leader of the NETWORK Lobby’s “Nuns on the Bus” project. As part of their journey across the nation, Catholic sisters and their supporters traveled on the bus to both parties’ conventions to initiate conversations about economic inequality and the many divisions facing the nation.
