Chicago Man Charged In Attacks And Other Developments

The events surrounding the story told in Mumbai Massacre continue to develop as new facts come to light surrounding the attacks.

Yesterday evening on the December 7th CBS evening news, CBS reported, “A Chicago man [David Coleman Headley] accused of planning an armed attack on a Danish newspaper was charged Monday with conducting surveillance on potential targets in the Indian city of Mumbai before terrorist attacks there in 2008 that killed 166 people.”

In this report, learn about the cooperation between David Coleman Headley, a United States citizen, and Lashkar-e-Taiba, the terrorist group responsible for last year’s terrorist attacks in Mumbai. According to recent reports, Headley was also involved in a plot to attack the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten after it published cartoons of Muhammad in 2005.
