Here are the results of elections profiled in

In the Santa Barbara, CA, congressional race where Democrat Lois Capps had defeated Republican Tom Bordornaro in a March special election, the same two candidates competed again in November. Lois Capps was again the winner.

In south Georgia, Dylan Glenn lost in the Republican primary race. The eventual winner of the election was incumbent Democrat Sanford Bishop.

In Minnesota, Republican congressional candidate Craig Duehring lost to incumbent Democrat David Minge.

In the California Governor's race where two wealthy candidates, Al Checchi and Jane Harman, lost the Democratic primary to Lt. Governor Gray Davis, Davis went up against California Attorney General and Republican nominee Dan Lungren. The result was a victory for Davis.
