Why did you immigrate to the U.S.? My immigration happen as a result of my mother who favor new opportunities and wellness for the future of her kids. I was age 16 and was accompanied by my brother 15 and my sister 11. We landed at JFK with no understanding of the changes, but welcomed the open arms of my mother and family. I'm grateful for 16 years of change which contributed to my current lifestyle, growth and future aspirations. The ability to dream from Guyana and have those dreams realized today, makes this change heart felt.
