I then spent 2 more years training at USBR in Denver. Decided then there was more social and professional opportunity in US. I went back to India and was far back in seniority because of my 4 years in US. Sent to Denver again in 1952 on a government assignment and met my wife. We returned to India in 1953 so I could complete my 5 year contract (bond). We left for US as soon as the contract was over. I have been a citizen since 1960.
