What country did you emigrate from? China

When did you emigrate to the U.S.? 1980

How did you arrive in the U.S.? airplane

Why did you immigrate to the U.S.? I watched a part of the destination USA program, specifically, the Tibetan refugee cases. I strongly disagree with the story. Clearly, it is politically distorted and manipulated. Tibet is part of China since the dawn of the Chinese civilization – the Xia Dynasty. It is ridiculous to claim “China invaded Tibet” in 1950. The term should be that China regains control of Tibet over Western colonizers. The program shows videos of military men chasing a few monks. The screen voice said:” The Tibetans suffered for their religion under the Chinese rule”. I am utterly disgusted and appalled because the video is taken out of contacts. The so-called “Chinese military” are actually local Tibetan police force. It does not support the view expressed in the program at all. I strongly urge the program makers to visit Tibet. I wonder if the program is making such “hate” allegation against China; it should consult with some non-Tibetan Chinese as well. The one sided story remind us of the anti-China preaching and brainwashing in the US Christian churches. Looking at the history of America, we witness a history of racial/religious hostility and intolerance against the Chinese in North America. The program reminded us once again the painful reality of the racist and Christian white dominated society today.
