Welcome to the lesson plans created for The Living Edens: "Denali National Park" Web site!

These lessons were developed to provide interesting, hands-on science for middle level students; however, the lessons do contain suggested extensions and adjustments for use with elementary and secondary students. Each lesson can also be modified to be conducted at home.

The lessons were created to parallel the program, The Living Edens "Denali National Park." They portray the creatures and the environment that I observed after several visits to Denali. The lesson plans focus on the unique aspects of this far north environment and target elements of the park that represent this unique environment.

Suggestions for lesson content improvement and implementation are always welcome. Science lessons are unique and always subject to revision. Your comments will assist in making the lessons more user friendly. Please email your comments and/or suggestions to PBS ONLINE.
