How do you imagine God?

I imagine God as a "tough love" possibly abusive parent. There are instances cited in the Bible of God as jealous, angry, vengeful, and punishing. He might also be characterized as a fumbler with failures in the war in Heaven, the serpent's seduction of Eve and the multiple curses of the fall, the flood, the tower of Babel, the Diaspora, etc. His terrible treatment of Job was the consequence of a bet that he made with Satan. If one lists the biblical battles prompted or assisted by God, one could make the case that He was a war mongerer.
