What’s really behind the label on that can of dark roast in your kitchen cabinet?

We picked 11 top coffee brands, from multinational food corporations to smaller indie roasters, and decided to find out. After reading the labels, we got in touch with the coffee companies and asked them about their beans—and their business practices. Then we dug a little deeper and discovered that what’s on the label is often not the entire truth.
