Friends of Maiti Nepal
As seen in THE DAY MY GOD DIED, Maiti Nepal has helped to rescue and rehabilitate numerous Nepalese girls who had been trafficked to work in the child sex industry. Created by the Friends of Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organization supporting and raising awareness of Maiti Nepal’s work, this site features background on Maiti’s programs and the latest news in the fight against child sex slavery. Friends of Maiti Nepal supports Maiti Nepal and Sanlaap in Calcutta.

This non-profit organization works with partner groups around the world to use video technology to expose human rights abuses, and provided the spy camera technology used to film the brothels in THE DAY MY GOD DIED.
