Becky: On Entering the House

What do you think you would gain from the experience as a housemaid in Manor House?
"I think that this would be the most amazing experience and a completely unique way to truly glimpse a period of history."

"I have always been fascinated by days gone by; my grandmother went into domestic service at the age of 15, plus I have fond memories or sitting with her listening intently to her many tales. I would often wish I could experience the same things and I feel that this is my chance."

"Also at this stage in my life I feel it would be a great way to get to know myself better, and maybe understand more of what I want to do with my life."

"I enjoy socialising with friends, meals out, theatre and cinema. I like singing - though I haven't done any properly since school. I enjoy walking and travelling to interesting historical places and I also like visiting old houses, castles, museums as it brings the past to life ."
