Steve Smith in bushes at Historical Building

Historical Building turns hysterical!

Not to be outdone by the many fans who turned up to meet Red Green at the Simon Estes Pavilion, over 350 people paid $50 to $75 per plate to enjoy an evening with Red at the Iowa State Historical Building.

Despite the fact that Harold was unable to attend due to bad travel weather conditions - the enthusiastic crowd was treated to a delicious meal, and great entertainment.

From the opening educational segment where the Possum Lodge salute and motto ("Quondo Omni Flunkus Moritati" - When all else fails, play dead) was taught, to the final thank you and autograph session, Steve entertained the crowd with classic Red Green style.

Three main events highlighted the evening, a Red Green Look-Eh-Like Contest, a Harold Look-Eh-Like Contest, and a Handyman's Duct Tape Invention Contest provided lots of energy and fertile ground for the sharp wit of Steve Smith.

Happy Couple Celebrates with Red!

When faced with the reality of celebrating their 30th anniversary, Norbert and Joanne Smith (no relation to Steve) of Earlham couldn't decide between a romatic cruise to an exotic locale, or spending the evening with Steve Smith.

Either they chose to spend time with their Possum hero, or Kathie Lee needs to shave real bad!
