Unwanted guests can be a problem. They don't know when to leave and they can upset the tranquility of our homes. But some guests, like the Formosan subterranean termite, can be more than just a nuisance. These marauding invaders, which probably came from southern China, can literally eat your home to the ground, leaving it in a pile of rubble. Homeowners in the United States spend more than one billion dollars a year trying to control ravenous pests like these.
