Your Water Supply
If you live in California and other parts of the western United States, much of your water supply is in part dependent on the snow in the mountains. But as temperatures rise, scientists suggest that much of this snow will melt and the fresh water will be washed away in torrents. With less water, western regions could face a devastating drought — one that could last an entire lifetime and longer.
