NEEDCOM: Do people who work on a busy street do well at panhandling? ROBERT G: Yeah, well, in that respect, yes, because you have the masses. It depends. If you got three thousand people a day walking by, you're going to make more than you would on a side street. Except if you're on a side street where people know you. The reason I'm here right now is because these people know me. A lot of people work here, and they see us every day, they know that we're not going to hurt nobody but you go somewhere were nobody knows you, they get kind of wary. It's like going into a restaurant that sells ninety-nine cent hot dogs. The reason they make the money is 'cause of the volume. I'm just using that ideology ... You understand? How can you sell a hot dog for ninety-nine cents and make money? 'Cause of the volume.
