Day Three

The last day on this project. I make up another rocket and my brazing is much better. I also try hammering in lead from the inside (after dismantling the rocket) and we try a second and third attempt at getting the thing to go – but no joy.

After I can’t go any further I join Kathy and Mike B to help them. The water rocket looks like it is going well and so I help out there.

The day ends with a terrific team effort packing the parachute into the nose cone of the water rocket it takes off goes up and let’s go of the egg and chute. It makes it way down, the chute opens and egg makes it unhurt back to ground – great ending to a great series!
