The Bare Stage (1:03) - Transcript

Al Pacino: You have a bare stage and on that bare stage you have the world. It can become anything in front of you. It employs all the arts -- painting, music. And it's there. It's primitive, it goes way back and you know and you can feel. It connects us to our past, our loins, our innermost, that's where we feel it. In films you still can be removed somewhat... but in the theater, it's you and that three dimensions, and anything can happen.
