In 1981, Wyeth Laboratories, Inc. was packaging its Ovral-21 in a "racetrack" package adorned with a butterfly and flowers. The tablets came in foil inserts that were replaced each month. The patient package insert is shown with the cover. It provides information on how to take oral contraceptives and lists potential side effects.
