Ossabaw Island, Georgia

Ossabaw, one of Georgia's Barrier Islands, lies seven miles south of Savannah. Only accessible by boat, the island is owned by the state and managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

Ossabaw's wide beaches served as a striking visual backdrop for the filming of Tunis Campbell's arrival on St. Catherine's Island.

 We were really hoping there would be a picture of one of our main characters, Tunis Campbell, out there. We never found it, and so we had to find another approach. We're not shying away from showing faces, or real people. -- Patricia Garcia-Rios, co-producer
