I liked it very much from the beginning, right. And, do you want to know the
pay I started with? $9.50 a week, and after 3 months we got, we'd get $10.00 -- a 50 cent raise. And for the ... second year we'd get 2 weeks vacation;
but after five, we'd get 3 weeks vacation. So it all was good at that time.
$9.50 was a good week's pay.
