We listened in once in a while. We had a supervisor that had a long cord, and
she's over at the other end of the room, and they said, "Look at her over there,
she's swallowing the transmitter again, she' s listening." But I mean, you
couldn't help it once in a while -- to open your key, you know. And we weren't
supposed to do that, but I remember seeing the others doing it, and one day I
had my key open, and the chief come over and said, "You shouldn't be listening."
And I almost said, "I thought that went with the job."
