Everything changed that day. When I came out of the Commerce Building and saw that crowd, that angry crowd, there were two things that were very different than what had transpired in the past. First of all, that crowd outside the building was larger than any we had ever assembled before and keep in mind that the hardcore demonstrators had been in the Commerce Building and they weren't around, they were off at the hospitals. Secondly, the intensity and the anger was beyond comprehension and that was to stay in that mode for years.
