The Ohio Historical Society's mission is to promote a knowledge of archaeology and history, especially in Ohio. The society's "Kilroy Was Here!" exhibit allows visitors to reflect on the profound changes that occurred in American culture -- and on the great personal sacrifices Ohioans and all Americans made -- during World War II. The society also exhibits the popular and significant Ohio Battle Flag Collection.
