PBS' Frontline and Nova have both examined biowarfare in their series and on their Web sites for Plague War (1998) and Bioterror (2001).
Frontline's Plague War Web site focuses on the Soviet Union's biological weapons program and features interviews with Soviet, British and American scientists, as well as politicians and policy makers. The site also summarizes the anthrax outbreak of 1979 and allegations that the apartheid government of South Africa developed chemical and biological weapons.
Nova's Bioterror Web site features a map indicating the state of biowarfare programs around the world, a Flash simulation where you can develop a vaccine, video interviews of two biowarfare Cold Warriors, and more.
