We Shall Remain: Alaska
Alaska will create a working group that will result in a television and radio forum that will ask statewide Native leaders to talk about how they see themselves being depicted in Alaska media and what media needs they see for the future. Home to the largest percentage of American Indians of any state, there are 22 indigenous languages spoken in Alaska, and our goal is to encourage dialogue and identify ways to improve communication throughout the state.
