We Shall Remain: Carbondale, Illinois
“Tell Us and We Will Remember” will bring the regional history of Native Americans into the public eye and will provide opportunities for others to learn about the history in their region. The Trail of Tears, located in southern Illinois, stands as a historic record of the Natives who died due to cold winters during their removal from southeastern United States.
