Apple II's Answers
How would you describe yourself?
Hey! As you can tell by looking at this photo of me, I'm a sleek, modular, compact computing machine that has a great deal to offer -- much more than any other computer of my type had to offer when I was first introduced. And believe it or not, I was first built in a garage!
Now if I had to say one thing about myself, it would be that I am single-handedly resposible for starting a revolution in computing! Quite a claim, but its true!
How's your memory?
What was the question? Ha ha! :-)
Actually, my memory's not bad! I am usually configured with 4,000 bytes of RAM -- that's random access memory. But if you've got the cash to buy more, I can handle up to 48,000 bytes.
What are your capabilities?
Pretty BASIC, I'd say! Ha! Get it!
You see, the BASIC programming language is included in my ROM (read only memory). That means you can start working in BASIC -- writing programs or running existing ones -- as soon as you power up.
I can support a color monitor. You can even plug your old color TV into me to see fabulous color images.
Do you consider yourself versatile?
You betta believe it!
If it can be done in my BASIC programming language, I can do it. I can also do things like running word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Hey, I even come complete with a nifty game called Breakout. It's really a lot of fun!
