Giovanni Bucchi Giovanni Bucchi is a master gilder. He founded Ennio Restoration Studios in 1991 after apprenticing in Europe for 13 years.

Ennio Restoration specializes in the restoration of fine gilded objects using traditional gilding techniques and materials for private clients and museums. Among his institutional clients are the National Academy of Design; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; the Morris Jumel Mansion; the Minneapolis Institute of Art; the Walter Art Galleries, Baltimore; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the American Craft Museum, New York City; the Museum of Fine Art, Boston; the National Gallery, Washington, D.C.; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; and the Louvre Museum, Paris.

His teaching experience includes the Fashion Institute of Technology, Restoration Department, New York; New York University, Appraisal Studies Program; and the New York University Conservation Center of The Institute of Fine Art. He is also a member of the vetting committee of the Winter Antique Show in New York City.
