Colleene Fesko Colleene Fesko is a Boston-based independent consultant and broker, specializing in 19th- and 20th-century American and European fine art. Her experience includes more than two decades with Skinner Auction of Boston (vice president of department development and director of the Painting department) and Vesti Corporation, an international fine-art consulting firm with offices in Boston, New York, and Geneva. She has worked with major public and private clients and institutions in the acquisition, installation, appraisal (insurance, estate, gift tax and fair market value), and liquidation of their holdings. Through this experience, she has developed a keen awareness of the volatile art market in all its forms.

In addition to being on ANTIQUES ROADSHOW since its inaugural season, she has appeared on National Public Radio's Talk of the Nation, and as a guest on the New England news and entertainment shows Chronicle Magazine and Greater Boston. She has taught art history at Mt. Ida College in Boston, and she writes and lectures widely on art and the art market for such venues as the Smithsonian Institution, the Archives of American Art, the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the American Society of Appraisers, the Fogg Art Museum (Harvard University), and the Peabody-Essex Museum (Salem, Massachusetts). Topics have included "Bulls and Bears in the China Shop/The Art Market Now," "Looking at Contemporary Art/Condition and Conservation , The Rothko Murals at Harvard," and "Spacious Skies: An Appreciation of the Hudson River School."
