Richard Wright Longtime dolls expert Richard Wright died on March 1, 2009, aged 62. Richard had been an invaluable member of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's appraisal team since 1997 and will be missed by his colleagues and many fans.

Richard was owner of Richard Wright Antiques & Dolls, located in Birchrunville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, about 35 miles west of Philadelphia. Richard opened his first store in 1960, when he was only 14. He was recognized by his colleagues for his expertise in antique dolls from the 18th through the mid-20th century. He held memberships in the Antique Appraisers Association, National Antique Doll Dealers Association, National Antique Dealers Association, and the United Federation of Doll Clubs, among others.
