In this activity, you imagine that you are lauching your career in entertainment today. As an "American Master", what would you do in such a career? What would be the major milestones in your life? How would you and other people measure yor success?

It's your career -- you can feel free to invent anything you want!

Make up events for the following dates. (You can create your own dates if you want.) Here are some ideas:

• You are given an award for your charity work (don't forget to make up a name for the award and describe the charity work.)
  
• Your hit song becomes the most downloaded song on the Internet, breaking all previous records.
  
• You become the first person from your area to reach an important milestone or accomplishment.
  
• You form a company or musical group with one of your current favorite stars.
  
• You star in a TV show, or perhaps you produce or write a TV series.
• You launch your own entertainment company (to produce TV shows, make records, or whatever you want.)
  
• You hold a major international benefit concert for a humanitarian cause.
• The sky's the limit - whatever you can imagine!

Today:
Write down today's date and the event that kicks off your career. Example: your musical group is formed today, or you might imagine that today is the first time you play with one of your favorite musicians in concert, or that you have visited the set of your favorite current movie.
