Something To Dance About's Peabody Win

Peabody AwardAMERICAN MASTERS Jerome Robbins: Something to Dance About (premiere broadcast January 2009) has just been honored with a prestigious Peabody Award. The George Foster Peabody Awards, established in 1941 and administered by the University of Georgia, are annual, international awards for excellence, distinction and achievement in broadcast journalism – considered by many the most competitive and coveted honor in radio and television. This represents the 10th such win in the history of the AMERICAN MASTERS series and, this year, is one of five wins for public television.

Watch excerpts of interviews about Robbins from the documentary and read an interview with the Producer/Director of the film.

I note that “Something To Dance About’s Peabody Win” was aired on 04-05-10, but I am unable to determine if it was shown either PBS stations: KCET & KOCE. Also, when it will be aired again and if either of my PBS stations wiil air the program? I enjoy American Masters very much, but it does not appear that KCET aired this particular show.
