Watch this film on hunger and poverty, spread it in your friends and family, it will make you cry. Spare 6 minutes of your life, and change your perspective.

This film is about the hunger and poverty brought about by Globalization. There are 10,000 people dying everyday due to hunger and malnutrition. This short film shows a forgotten portion of the society. The people who live on the refuse of men to survive. What is inspiring is the hope and spirituality that never left this people.

I heartily agree that world hunger is a major issue. I’m wondering if surplus food is still dumped as we once were told by the media, or if it is finally being airlifted to those in need. Although the numbers of hungry people in other countries is staggering, we do have poverty and hunger right here in America. Our foreign policy has most often been to take care of those least able to take care of themselves, in part, for religious/political advantage. If we start by taking care of our own country, we strengthen the future for all. It saddens me there are still children who go hungry, who have no place to sleep in many cases, dependent on local shelters and food programs which are only available to a limited extent due to budget cuts and high inflation. If everyone helped out with hunger and volunteering time to help one child without proper supervision right here in America, we could all focus more on world hunger. God bless each and every individual who is trying to do all they can in both areas.
