Drew
Pearson is an award-winning independent producer based in Kittery Point,
Maine. He has produced programs for two major PBS series, The
United States and the Philippines, and Vietnam: A Television
History. For his work on Vietnam, he won an Emmy and shared in Columbia-Dupont,
Peabody and Polk prizes. Pearson began his television career as a cameraman
and correspondent for NBC News, covering events in Africa and South
Asia. He also worked for ABC News in South Vietnam, producing and filming
many pieces on the war.
