HOME Photographing Avondale IMAGES: 1883 ARCADIA IN AVONDALE PHOTOGRAPHING AVONDALE Eakins' sister Fanny is proud of her brother's accomplishments and supports his career. Eakins establishes a studio at the back of the house. He brings his paints to the farm as well as his camera. At an early age, Fanny's children were posing, assisting and receiving instruction from their Uncle Tom.   Their children almost stood in for the children Eakins never had. He enjoyed children, always did, and certainly their presence here was a very important factor in the enjoyment he had whenever he came here. W.
