Donald Trump will make history as only the second U.S. president to serve non-consecutive terms when he and JD Vance are sworn in Monday in an indoor Inauguration Day ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.
"Tomorrow, at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline and we begin a brand-new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride," Trump told supporters at a pre-inauguration rally Sunday in Washington. Earlier in the weekend, he told NBC News that his inaugural address would include themes of unity, strength and fairness.
