All five living presidents — Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden — attended former President Jimmy Carter's funeral at the Washington National Cathedral, paying tribute to the longest-living commander-in-chief.

Four first ladies, as well as current Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, also attended. Former first lady Michelle Obama was not in attendance.
President-elect Trump did not attend former President George H. W. Bush's funeral in 2018, though all the other living presidents at the time, including Carter, did attend.
