Cooper called upon several states, including his home state of North Carolina, and the country to "stand up" if they were ready to fight for Harris like she would fight for them.
"America, we got a lot of big fights ahead of us, and we've got one hell of a fighter ready to take them on," Cooper said.
Harris' speech is her first official chance to offer her vision for the country to voters. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz formally accepted the vice presidential nomination the day before.
