Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Wednesday, a night focused on fighting "for our freedoms," from democracy to reproductive rights and more.

"By the way, I got a message for the Republicans and the justices of the United States Supreme Court," Nessel said. "You can pry this wedding band from my cold, dead, gay hand."
"And I'm retaining a lot of water, so good luck with that," she quipped.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will also formally accept the vice presidential nomination, a day before Vice President Kamala Harris takes the stage as the official nominee.
