Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said "we would support that."

She added: "The president did not write the letter. He did not sign this letter."

Leavitt said Trump's legal team plans to continue a lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, which previously published the letter Trump allegedly wrote to Epstein.

The White House had claimed the letter didn't exist, but it was released to Congress this week.

Leavitt said that the president's legal team would continue "aggressively pursuing litigation against The Wall Street Journal."
