The U.S. Air Force is renaming Joint Base Charleston in honor of the late South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Graham served in the Air Force, the Air Force Reserves and the Air National Guard for more than 30 years as a lawyer before retiring at the rank of colonel, according to his Senate website.
He was honored in memorial services by President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance after he died suddenly on July 11.
