Greg Oppel is a 21-year classroom veteran, including 20 years at his alma mater Edmond Memorial High School where he teaches with his sister. Greg teaches Advanced Placement Comparative and United States Government & Politics and has taught AP Art History, AP Human Geography and AP US History. Greg is a renewed National Board Certified AYA social studies teacher, social studies department chair, history club sponsor and former QuizBowl coach. He is a former District Teacher of the Year Finalist and recipient of the Oklahoma Council for Social Studies Rising Star Award.
